Remy Ma Allegedly Detained Following Heated Courthouse Clash in Son’s Murder Case [Video]

Remy Ma found herself in cuffs after a tense and emotional situation played out outside a Queens courthouse.

The rapper was caught in a heated faceoff with Jazmin Dior, the daughter of the man her son is accused of murdering.

It happened early last month, just steps away from the courthouse where Remy’s 23-year-old son, Jayson “Jace” Scott, had just been arraigned on multiple felony charges tied to a deadly shooting in 2021.

In a video shared by Dior on Instagram, she’s seen confronting Remy Ma head-on, saying, “You’re trying to act like you’re tough” before telling her to “go around the corner.” Remy didn’t step away. Instead, she replied, “Come on, beat me up,” and began walking down the stairs toward Dior.

While the video cuts before anything physical unfolds, Dior later posted a photo showing Remy Ma in handcuffs on the same courthouse steps. A separate clip shows both women recording each other and exchanging insults as tensions boiled over.

Dior later spoke on the incident, saying she felt disrespected by Remy’s energy. “You would have thought I did something to you,” she said in a follow-up post. “I can never speak to my father again. You can still see your son.”

She also called out Remy’s attitude in court, accusing her of looking at her “like her son was the victim” and questioning the lack of empathy. “Like miss, where’s your remorse?”

The emotional exchange came right after Jayson Scott was indicted on seven serious charges, including first and second-degree murder, reckless endangerment, and multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Prosecutors say he was allegedly hired to kill 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux in a targeted shooting that took place in June 2021.

Investigators claim Scott shot Guillebeaux several times, then fired again after he was already down. Authorities linked Scott and his alleged co-conspirator, Richard Swygert, to the crime using surveillance footage and phone data. Swygert is already serving time for a separate 2021 murder.

Both men were arrested last year. If convicted, Scott is facing life in prison without parole.

Remy Ma has been present and vocal during her son’s court proceedings, standing by him since the case began.
