Nicki Minaj isn’t just trending for her music, she’s pulling the curtain back on serious allegations connected to the Roc Nation empire. The rap icon shared two explosive posts on her Instagram that have social media in a frenzy. One centers on Jay-Z being legally required to respond to a long-running paternity suit. The other? Abuse allegations aimed directly at Roc Nation CEO Desirée Perez—from her own daughter.
Nicki reposted a side-by-side image of Jay-Z and Raymir Satterthwaite with text revealing that a judge has officially granted Raymir’s request to move forward with his paternity case. Even more serious, Jay-Z has been ordered to respond by July 18.
Raymir, now in his 30s, says he’s the son of Jay-Z, the result of an encounter between the rapper and his then-teenage mother. After years of legal roadblocks, the courts are finally ready to hear the case—and Jay-Z is legally required to answer.
Nicki captioned the post, “Oh is this why he was trending the other day? I hope all is well. To God be the glory.” Her tone may have been calm, but the story itself is anything but.
In a separate post, Nicki highlighted a viral video of Demoree Hadley, the daughter of Roc Nation CEO Desirée Perez. Demoree accuses her mother of forcibly placing her under the Baker and Marchman Acts in Florida—claiming she was held against her will, falsely labeled a drug user, and physically attacked.
Demoree alleges her powerful mother manipulated police, legal systems, and even media to make it happen. But leaked body-cam footage and medical reports now suggest Demoree had no drugs in her system, raising questions about the truth behind her detainment.
Nicki reposted the story with concern, tagging The Shade Room and asking, “What’s going on?!?!? Help!!!!!!” She later doubled down with a powerful message: “NEVER call me a liar… Vengeance is the Lord’s,” hinting that these stories echo her own past warnings about Roc Nation’s inner workings.
This isn’t the first time Nicki has accused Roc Nation of shady business. Over the past year, she’s hinted at attempts to silence her and interfere in her personal life—particularly her husband and son. By amplifying these two separate but equally heavy stories, Nicki is framing Roc Nation as a place where power goes unchecked.
From Jay-Z’s paternity case being brought into the spotlight to Desirée Perez’s own daughter calling her abusive, the house that Roc Nation built is suddenly being questioned on every front.
