R. Kelly just took another hit in court. His latest attempt to sue blogger Tasha K was tossed out after a judge decided there wasn’t enough proof to move forward.
Kelly had claimed Tasha K got her hands on private jail info and shared it publicly. His legal team even pointed fingers at the government, saying someone leaked the records to her. But the judge wasn’t convinced. The court said there simply wasn’t enough evidence to back the story up.
This legal back-and-forth has been dragging on for a while. Previous claims were already thrown out, and this recent move shuts down the case even further.
Kelly is still serving a 31-year sentence on serious charges, including child sexual abuse. He isn’t expected to be released until the early 2050s.
Even though this case is done for now, don’t be shocked if his lawyers keep pushing. They’ve been working overtime to find a legal win, but so far, the courts aren’t siding with them.
