Donald Trump took to Truth Social with a post defending Attorney General Pam Bondi and blasting those he says are derailing the MAGA movement by focusing on Jeffrey Epstein.
In the lengthy post, Trump claimed his administration is “perfect” and “the talk of the world,” but warned that “selfish people” are trying to damage it by digging into old Epstein files. Trump suggested the renewed interest in the late financier is nothing more than a distraction orchestrated by political enemies and deep state operatives, name-dropping former President Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and others as part of a smear campaign.
He slammed his critics for playing into the hands of the left and questioned why the Epstein files weren’t used earlier if they truly contained damaging information. Trump called on allies to stay focused on voter fraud investigations and accused the FBI of wasting time on Epstein instead of going after what he sees as real political corruption.
Trump specifically praised Pam Bondi’s work as Attorney General, saying she’s been targeted unfairly. “Let Pam Bondi do her job — she’s great!” he wrote. He claimed she is actively investigating the 2020 and 2024 elections and working to protect the integrity of the vote.
Trump’s post also repeated familiar claims that the 2020 election was stolen and touted his administration’s accomplishments on the border, energy, and national security. He closed out by insisting America is “the hottest country in the world” under his leadership and warned not to waste time on Epstein, whom he said “nobody cares about.”
