Meagan Good has babies on the brain, and her husband, Jonathan Majors, is all in.
While attending Lifetime’s Summer Soirée on July 16th, the “Harlem” actress opened up to Us Weekly about her desire to grow their family. “
I definitely am ready to have kids now,” she shared. “And then, my partner [is] someone I want to really do it with, and get excited about doing it with, and who is a phenomenal father already, but now we can do it together.”
Majors is already a father to a 12-year-old daughter from a prior relationship. As for Good and Majors, they’re currently pet parents to four dogs—but she says they’re looking to expand even more, hoping for “two more children” to join their lives.
Reflecting on her character Camille’s pregnancy in “Harlem,” Good said the role helped solidify her feelings.
“I’m super ready,” she explained.
Since tying the knot with Majors in March, Good says life as newlyweds has been “pretty amazing.” The couple dated for two years before their low-key wedding. Throughout their relationship, Good stood by Majors during his high-profile legal battle involving ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Majors was convicted on misdemeanor assault and harassment charges, which led to him being dropped from several major projects, including his role as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Majors previously told “The Breakfast Club” that Good faced fallout simply for being with him.
“She lost endorsements,” he said. “She got uninvited to things.”
