Al B. Sure! is caught in a dispute with Simon & Schuster regarding his forthcoming memoir, which was expected to contain controversial claims about Diddy.

The memoir, Do You Believe Me Now?, promised to share detailed accounts of Al B. Sure!’s near-fatal health crisis in 2022, his relationship with the late Kim Porter, and alleged connections between his coma and the music mogul.

Shortly after the memoir’s announcement in May, the publisher quietly removed the book from its website, and its release now appears uncertain.

According to Al B. Sure!’s lawyer, Robert J. Hantman, the conflict stems from creative disagreements. He explained that Simon & Schuster wanted the memoir to include more information about Sean Combs, but the singer was reluctant to expand on that topic. Hantman said that Al B. Sure! hopes to resolve these issues with the publisher.

The book’s pre-order listing has disappeared from Amazon, and the audiobook release date has been postponed indefinitely, with an improbable new date set for the year 2050. Audible has removed the audiobook’s listing entirely.

Simon & Schuster’s earlier promotional material described the memoir as revealing “shocking ties to Sean Combs” alongside details of Al B. Sure!’s health struggles and his romance with Kim Porter, who was once married to Diddy.

The singer’s public statements about Combs and Porter generated significant media attention, particularly when he suggested a possible link between his coma and the Bad Boys founder.

Hantman also expressed concerns that outside forces may have influenced the publisher’s decision to halt the book. He mentioned plans to investigate the situation with the help of private investigator Bo Dietl, stating, “If someone interfered, we are going to investigate.”

At this time, it remains unclear when or if Al B. Sure!’s memoir will be published, leaving readers uncertain about when they will learn the full story.
