Johnny Manziel may be facing punishment for the role he played in the alleged assault of his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley. Manziel is accused of striking his ex girlfriend in the head/ear several times, leaving her partially deaf. The incident happened earlier this year as Manziel and Crowley were driving to Crowley’s home in Fort Worth, TX.
According to reports, on April 21, a Dallas County Grand Jury reviewed evidence in the case and have decided to indict Manziel on a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury charge.Â
Crowley was granted a protection order following the January incident. Manziel must stay at least 500 feet away from Crowley and her Fort Worth apartment until February 2018. He also must pay her $12,500 attorney’s fees and cannot possess a handgun until the order is lifted.Â
There’s no word as to when Manziel, who’s been living it up in Los Angeles, will have to return to court.Â
