Just hours before opening night of his Make America Slime Again Tour at the American Airlines Center, the 24-year-old rapper made a power move, off the mic. YoungBoy donated $50,000 to two nonprofits doing the heavy lifting in Dallas communities.
Half of the donation went to Manifest Freedom, a nonprofit founded by attorney Brittany K. Barnett. Her organization empowers formerly incarcerated individuals through entrepreneurship and creative opportunities. “This support from YoungBoy helps us keep pushing the boundaries of second chances,” Barnett said.
The other $25,000 was gifted to Urban Specialists, a group working to reduce violence and uplift communities through grassroots leadership. “This investment goes straight to the streets—where change really begins,” said the group’s Dallas chapter leader.
“I just want to start this tour on something real,” NBA YoungBoy explained. “This is bigger than music—it’s about peace, growth, and giving people a real chance to change their lives.”
This tour marks his first nationwide run, and it’s already setting a new tone. With Offset, NoCap, DeeBaby, and Mellow Rackz joining him on stage, the MASA Tour is blending entertainment with impact.
By putting his money directly into local causes before performing, NBA YoungBoy is setting a powerful example—hip-hop can be both a show and a service.
