Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse are pushing back after Donald Trump publicly dismissed their fight for justice as nothing more than a political “hoax.”
During a press conference on Capitol Hill, several women stood together to remind the world that their pain is not a partisan issue. One survivor directly addressed Trump, saying she is a registered Republican but urged him to meet her in person to understand that their trauma is very real.

“It’s not a hoax. We are human beings. This is real trauma,” she explained, describing the emotional weight of being told their experiences are being brushed off. “To hear someone say that, it feels like you’re being gutted from the inside out. We just want to be seen for who we are and what we’ve lived through.”
The group has joined lawmakers in calling for the release of sealed Epstein case documents, which could shed light on powerful figures who may have been connected to Epstein. They argue that transparency is key, not only for accountability but also for closure.

When asked about the press conference, Trump doubled down. Speaking to reporters, he claimed that the Epstein case is being used by Democrats to distract from his record in office. “This is a Democrat hoax that never ends,” Trump said. “Thousands of pages have already been given. But they keep wanting more because it’s political.”
For survivors, those words were a painful dismissal of their reality. Their message was clear: the abuse happened, it left scars, and no amount of political spin can erase that.
