Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein gathered on Capitol Hill this week to demand accountability and the release of all records connected to the disgraced financier. At the center of the press conference was Chauntae Davies, who shared her story and made it clear how Epstein used his powerful circle to shield himself.
Davies recounted how Epstein lured her in as a young woman with promises of helping her career but instead subjected her to years of abuse. She revealed that Epstein often bragged about his ties to world leaders, naming former President Bill Clinton and Donald Trump as his biggest flex.

She described being taken on a trip to Africa with Clinton and other high-profile figures, a moment that highlighted just how untouchable Epstein seemed at the time. According to Davies, this network of influence made her and other survivors feel like speaking out would never lead to justice.
“The truth is, Epstein had a free pass,” Davies said, questioning why Ghislaine Maxwell is the only person to face serious punishment while many others who were part of Epstein’s orbit remain untouched.
Survivors are now calling on Congress to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which would make public the names and information currently sealed from the public. They argue that withholding this information isn’t about protecting survivors but about protecting powerful people who enabled Epstein for decades.
For Davies and many others, the scars remain lifelong. She spoke about battling PTSD, raising her child in a world she struggles to trust, and living with trauma that can’t simply be forgotten. Their demand is simple: without truth, there can be no real justice.
