Rolling Ray Gave Us Laughs for Years to Come: Cheers to Our Top 5 Favorite Moments [Video]

Rolling Ray (Divorce Court)

Friday, September 5th, would’ve marked the 29th birthday of Rolling Ray, the viral internet personality who captured hearts and timelines with his iconic catchphrase, “purr.” Sadly, he passed away just two days earlier on September 3rd. As his fans and loved ones continue to mourn, we are taking a look back at several of our favorite Rolling Ray moments.

The influencer became a cultural staple after his 2018 appearance on “MTV’s Catfish: Trolls.” He also appeared on “Divorce Court” and “Bobby I Love U Purrr.” But it was his unfiltered online moments that made him a star off television.

One of Ray’s most talked-about instances came from his appearance at a 2020 police brutality protest. Ray was seen confronting officers while carrying a case of water in his wheelchair. When he wasn’t speaking out for such causes, Ray was clapping back on Instagram Live and delivering hilarious reads on Twitter, never shying away from his authenticity.

Through personal battles and health struggles, Rolling Ray never lost his shine, often showcasing his drip and hair slay for all to see. He even received a co-sign from Beyoncé, who sent him an Ivy Park package.

Since his untimely death, fans across social media have been celebrating his life with love, laughs, and memories. Rolling Ray may be gone, but his personality will live on through every gif, meme, and “purr” we send.
