Memphis Grizzlies Guard Mike Conley Jr. has donated $500,000 to his alma mater The Ohio State University. Conley’s donation was to the Schottenstein Center building project and the Basketball program. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the weight room will be called the Mike Conley Jr. Strength and Conditioning room. Conley left after his freshman season at Ohio State to enter the NBA draft in 2007. Conley played at Ohio State with his friend/fellow draft mate Greg Oden and is one of the most underrated guards in the NBA.
