Bad Bunny’s residency at San Juan’s José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum has become a historic event for Puerto Rico, not only for its cultural significance but also for its massive economic impact.

Originally scheduled for 30 shows, the residency will now include an additional performance on September 20, exclusively for residents of Puerto Rico. “Una más,” the artist captioned in a post about the extra concert.

According to reports, the residency has generated $713 million for the island, exceeding the initial projections by more than four times. The concerts have attracted thousands of fans from across the globe, boosting tourism and increasing revenue for local hotels, restaurants, and other businesses.

The tour has become a major economic driver while simultaneously showcasing Puerto Rico as a destination for world-class entertainment.

During his second-to-last performance, Bad Bunny shared a heartfelt message with fans, expressing gratitude for their support.

“This has been an unforgettable experience. Thank you for everything,” he said, visibly moved. “When I was little, I dreamed of doing this. I knew that anything I worked for with passion I could make happen, but all of this surpassed my own dreams. Thanks for so much love. Thank you for so much love. Thank you for putting me here. I will thank you for my entire life.”

Beyond the emotional and cultural impact, the concerts have proven to be a significant financial boon for the island, cementing Bad Bunny’s residency as both a musical and economic milestone.
