Trick Daddy recently called into Yung Joc’s Streetz Morning Takeover to respond to criticism surrounding the honorary doctorate he received.

The Miami rapper, recognized alongside fellow artist Trina, was awarded the degree by Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University, for their contributions to the rap game.
Addressing those who questioned the legitimacy of the honor, Trick Daddy said, “If somebody wanna give me an honorary doctorate, please let me get my doctorate. I ain’t even got a high school diploma. If somebody wanna honor me for all the things that I’ve done for the music business, the culture, please let me be happy taking my picture with my robe.”
He also stated that many blogs, such as Baller Alert, often share the bad Trick Daddy news. The “Let’s Go” star is thrilled to be recognized for something positive.
While some fans and even the co-hosts were skeptical of honorary degrees, Trick used the opportunity to defend the value of recognizing contributions beyond formal education.
