Joseline Hernandez, aka the Puerto Rican Princess, has come a long way from stripping to reality TV star, mom, storyteller, and executive producer. Now, she is gracing the cover of Glamour Bulgaria as one of their 2025 Women of the Year honorees.
The recognition celebrates her evolution from her “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” days to her current era of independence, self-discovery, and sobriety.
“To be honored as Woman of the Year the day before my birthday is incredible,” Hernandez wrote on Instagram. “A ghetto child from the slums of Puerto Rico — I am growing and learning and knowing that I belong.”
Hernandez said reading her interview brought back memories of her struggles with drug abuse, failed relationships, and finding purpose after pain.
“Through my struggles and challenges, drug abuse and failed relationships with my loved ones, I continue to push hard and still I Rise,” she added.
The Glamour Bulgaria cover, photographed by Kaio Cesar and creatively directed by Oliver Brown, highlights the confident, reflective woman behind the Puerto Rican Princess persona.
Hernandez thanked the creative team, including hairstylist Shantae Brown, makeup artist Kiersten Brii, and co-creative director Janeisha John. She also credited The Zeus Network’s Lemuel Plummer for helping her reconnect with audiences through her show “Joseline’s Cabaret.”
This milestone comes after a transformative year for Hernandez, who recently celebrated one year of sobriety.
“Thirty-eight times around the sun! I thought I would never make it to see 35, drug-free for one year,” she reflected.
Focused now on health, family, and the next phase of her career, Hernandez says she is most proud of showing her daughter, Bonnie Bella, the meaning of resilience.
