Friends Fear For Lamar Odom’s Life, Odom Spent $800/Day On Crack

We recently reported that Lamar Odom managed to spend a huge amount of money on his crack addiction within the last 3 years. Over the summer the then Clippers player spent an average of $800 to score a high for him, his friends and a few junkie strangers, according to reports. In late May, after Lamar was kicked out of the house by Khloe,  Lamar and a friend checked into Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel. The hotel room was used like a flop house … where Lamar was surrounded by 7 or 8 other drug abusers who came in and out of the room throughout the day and night for several months straight. Lamar would spend an average of $800 a day on drugs, including crack.

Lamar’s friends (the sober ones) fear for his life, “He’s headed for destruction.”  Things had gotten so bad before Lamar’s mysterious disappearance that his friends from Queens even flew down to LA for an intervention. “A few weeks ago his friends from the projects in Queens flew out to LA and banged on Lamar’s door trying to have an intervention with him,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online.

“They wanted to take him home to New York and get him clean but Lamar wouldn’t open the door initially, telling them he ‘didn’t give a f**k what the world thinks” and said they ‘don’t know the pressure he’s under.’”

“His friends knew that he liked to freebase cocaine, but they were shocked to see him with crack. They found more than 60 grams of crack in his possession and he had no intentions of stopping,” revealed an insider.
