New reports are painting a worrying picture of Lamar Odom, and friends are said to be concerned about him. None of it has been confirmed by Odom, and his representatives had not publicly responded at the time of this report.
TMZ reported that Odom spent around $800 a day on drugs over the summer. According to the report, the spending increased after he moved out of the home he shares with Khloe Kardashian in late May and checked into the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, where the room was allegedly used as a gathering spot for other people.
Radar Online, citing an unnamed source close to the situation, reported that friends from Queens flew to Los Angeles a few weeks ago to stage an intervention. The source claimed they wanted to bring him home to New York to get help, and that Odom would not open the door at first. The source also said friends were alarmed by what they saw. Radar’s source said they fear for his well being.
Other outlets gave conflicting accounts about where Odom is now. People reported that he left a rehab facility after one day, while Us Weekly said he was not in rehab at all. Odom and Khloe have not confirmed any of these reports.
