Shanice Tyria Sarratt is the mother of Ace Hood’s daughter. According to her she is also pregnant with another child, and doing all of the parenting alone.
Shanice attended Paine College in Augusta , Ga where she met Ace Hood as he performed at her school in November 2008. Two months after she met Ace Hood , Shanice decided to move to Miami to finish school at Florida Memorial University and to be closer to her short term boyfriend. She attended Florida Memorial University for , four months and then moved off campus with her boyfriend Ace Hood. Who knew that a relationship that seemed to be going well would end in instagram posts like the one below:
Now, I don’t know a whole lot about Shanice. What I do know is that after she posted this message, Ace Hood unfollowed her and she deleted her page. I also know that the daughter she is referring to is Lyric, the twin to she and Ace’s one year old daughter Sailor, who ended up passing away soon after birth.
I don’t know for certain if the child she is CURRENTLY carrying is his but to be alone and pregnant, after losing one of your twins is heartbreaking and Ace should know better.
What I hate is that she took time away from school to dedicate herself to her new boyfriend Ace Hood. I feel like women do that WAY too often and end up at the short end of the stick when their rapper boo gets a little fame and dumps them for groupies. She sounds really really hurt and for Ace to dismiss her with a simple unfollow on a social network shows that he is still very much immature. Shanice and Ace Hood weren’t just some little fling. This was a long time relationship, albeit they moved very quickly, they have been together for a while. In 2008 Ace Hood was a nobody, but you know how these guys like to do, diss the one who was with them before the “fame”. I like to call it, exterminating their past.
