Anyone who knows me knows that one of my newest fascinations is with Def Jam recording artist and New Orleans native August Alsina. With just 2 mixtapes under his belt I wasn’t expecting to see him at the BET Awards but when I did, I had to get him to take a moment to speak with BallerAlert.com. In our interview August talks about coming up in New Orleans, groupie love after his new-found fame and past relationships. He even sings a little bit of his single “I Luv This Sh*t” featuring Trinidad James.
August Alsina has a very promising career. He’s different from what is out now and can appeal to the streets although he sings.
