Bron Bron has done it before; every year since 2012, as he prepares for the playoffs, he takes a bit of a social media break. The fact that he went viral after he was put on blast by an Instagram Honey for allegedly DM’ing her “Hey, what’s up,” may have also played a small factor.
Lebron James made the announcement Saturday. “Zero Dark Thirty- 23 activated,” he tweeted. For those who aren’t familiar, Zero Dark Thirty is a film based on how the Navy SEALs launched a search for bin Laden in 2011, located his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, and killing him in a nighttime strike. It won an Academy Award.
It appears that this is Bron’s way of saying he’s killing off social media — temporarily of course. Cleveland and Detroit are going head to head to start off the race to the Eastern Conference finals. Who do you think will take the series?
