The case against him for shooting his friend in the face has been dismissed but New England Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez isn’t out of the hot seat just yet.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the NFL star. He’ll be charged with obstruction of justice and possibly more. The arrest is expected to happen sometime today and it will be handled by Massachusetts State Police, according to WBZ in Boston.
Police have been investigating in and around Hernandez’s house all week following the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. Lloyd was found shot in the head about a mile away from Hernandez’s home.
Police did a search of Aaron Hernandez‘s house and are charging him with obstruction of justice due to the fact that he destroyed evidence from his home security system, as in video surveillance footage.
Interesting to see how this all plays out.
