Former Browns Quarterback, Johnny Manziel, is in more trouble. Just last year, Manziel voluntarily entered a treatment facility as a direct result of his wild lifestyle. However, it seems like old habits die-hard.
Manziel, 23, whose NFL future is in jeopardy, rented a $4.5 million house in West Hollywood, where he and his friends threw a wild party that allegedly caused $32,000 in damages. The rich-kid party animal, hosted two all-night bangers that pressured neighbors to call the police.
Sources say, Manziel left the house in shambles with liquor and drugs everywhere. Wine stains and cigarette burns were found on the carpet, an expensive glass table was broken, along with a bathroom door. Page Six obtained photos that showed suspicious lines of white powder on a table and an opened bag of what seemed to be shrooms.
Real estate broker Nicholas Goodwin, who rented the home to Manziel, returned to find it trashed and Manziel passed out on the couch at 2 pm. “They were supposed to check out at noon…There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere…broken glass over the floor and a Champagne glass in a tree,” He said. “If they don’t respond to our demand for compensation, we will sue.”
Manziel was given an ultimatum from his 2nd agent, Drew Rosenhaus, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. He was to either get treatment or get dropped. However, Rosenhaus believes the former Heisman winner hasn’t made any steps toward seeking the treatment he’s been diligently recommending. Manziel has a few more days to take the necessary steps before his agent terminates their working relationship. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
