Chad Johnson’s lawyer Adam Swickle filed a motion for Judge Kathleen McHugh to reconsider the sentence she imposed on Chad Johnson. Chad Johnson was in court for a probation violation which he didn’t report to his probation officier for three months. His lawyer had reached a deal with the prosecutors for community service and counseling from his incident with Evelyn Lozada when he assaulted her.
“Mr. Johnson has been a professional football player in the National Football League for 11 years and patting another individual on the backside is viewed as a sign of respect and gratitude,” he said in the motion. “It is clear that the court misinterpreted Mr. Johnson’s interaction with his attorney.”
When Chad found out he wouldn’t do jail time despite skipping out on meetings with his probation officer for three months he showed his appreciated but patting his butt.
His hearing is set for Monday….
Do you think he should be released even though he was in court for not following the law? Was the butt pat disrespect? Thoughts?
