Philadelphia rapper and actress, Eve, has been on the move promoting her latest film, “Barbershop: The Next Cut.” During her promo runs, Eve has given media outlets the opportunity catch up with her, especially when it comes to her love life.
Eve and Maximillion Cooper tied the knot in 2014. The wedding was held in Ibiza, in front of close family and friends, with rapper Bun B officiating the service. The two love birds met in 2010 at the Gumball 3000, an annual British 3,000-mile international motor rally, Cooper founded, which takes place on public roads.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, Eve gave tips on how she and her husband make their relationship work saying, “You know we take it day by day, month by month. We respect each other, we are the realest. It’s the realest relationship I’ve ever had. He’s my homie. All those sound like clichés but really it’s working.”
She also added that honesty and loyalty are key components to making their relationship work.
37-year-old Eve, who is currently a step-mom to Max’s four children from a previous marriage, confirmed that there are no buns cooking in the oven at this time, but she’s very much looking forward to having children of her own. “We can’t wait to have kids of our own,” she said.
