Yesterday was 12/12/12 so you know what that means….Weddings!!!! Among the rash of nuptials that went down yesterday was Amaré Stoudemire and his long time girlfriend Alexis. The couple had a private ceremony on the rooftop of their apartment with a guest list of less than seven people including their three children Amaré Jr., Aré and Assata and a few other family members.
Sources say an even bigger ceremony is to come next year where friends, family and team mates will be invited. For now, this ceremony was just for them.
Amaré wore a Calvin Klein suit while Alexis and the children were dressed in traditional ethnic garments. Amaré broke the news on his Twitter page saying “12.12.12 now has a special & spiritual meaning for us.” Congratulations to the happy family.
