Hopefully Home Depot still has Delonte West’s job application on file because he’s going to need a job. We reported earlier this month that The Dallas Mavericks suspended Delonte West for “conduct detrimental to the team”. Delonte has received yet his second suspension from the Mavericks for the same reason. It has been reported that he has been suspended indefinitely.
ESPNDallas.com contacted Delonte this morning where he said he was being blamed for an argument between teammates after the Mavs’ 88-76 exhibition loss to the OKC Thunder on Wednesday night. He said he got a text Thursday morning telling him not to come to the American Airlines Center for practice.
“There was an argument between two teammates in the locker room last night that didn’t involve me,” said West, who had two points, one assist and three turnovers in 21 minutes against the Thunder. “Somehow I’m being blamed for it. I had nothing to do with it. I don’t know what’s going on.”
Sounds pretty similar to what happened the last time. If that wasn’t enough, Delonte took to his Twitter to react and it’s safe to say he is NOT happy!
This Delonte thing may be deeper than we know. Who knew Delonte was on meds?
