Tonight ABC News Nightline will air an exclusive interview with Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada where she talks candidly about her life with Chad Ochocinco Johnson. She talks about still loving him and how she also sympathizes with him. She also says that she is afraid of him and wants him to get help.
“It’s the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love but you have to walk away because I have to protect myself.” She went on to say, “I still love him… I feel bad for him because his life is now a mess.”
The mess that Evelyn is referring to is Chad’s untimely exit from the Miami Dolphins. He could also be facing serious jail time for the incident that took place just a few short weeks ago.
“I believe he loves me. I believe he needs to get help,” she said. “He’s a good guy that made a bad choice. He loves football and he’s very driven and a great dad. He made a bad choice that destroyed his life, and I hate that I’m connected to that.”
