No, this isn’t the first blog on Janoris Jenkins. This actually involves two first round draft picks from 2001 and 2003 who obviously fell on bad enough times that they had to steal identities and file fake tax returns making thousands of dollars.Â

Arrested by FBI agents were William Joseph, a University of Miami defensive tackle drafted by the New York Giants in 2003, and Michael Bennett, a University of Wisconsin running back drafted by the Vikings in 2001.
Â
A third defendant, according to the Miami Herald, is Louis Gachelin, a former Miami high school star who played football at Syracuse University and is the half-brother of Denver Broncos star Elvis Dumervil.
Â
The FBI declined to give details of the scheme, but the Heraldreported they likely will become public when a criminal complaint is released later today.
Â
The three suspects were being held at a federal detention center in downtown Miami. The Herald said the FBI made additional arrests in a related investigation.
Joseph played for the Giants from 2003-07, and then with the Raiders 2008-10.
