Adrien Broner does a lot of questionable things but if true, this one takes the cake. The boxer is being accused of beating a man outside of a Cincinnati bowling alley and robbing him at gun point. Broner has been charged with felony assault and aggravated robbery. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.Â
Allegedly the incident happened on January 21st around 3:30 am. Broner and another man had been placing high stake bets at the lanes. Apparently Broner was on a losing streak and lost thousands. When the other man tried to call it a night and head home with his winnings, he says Broner waited for him outside of the bowling alley, nearly knocking him out cold from punching him in the face/neck. Â
Court docs say Broner “then retrieved a handgun from his vehicle, approached the victim, demanded money, then struck [the victim] in the face with a closed fist a second time, this time causing the victim to be rendered unconscious.”
The documents continue, “Broner was then observed taking money out of the victim’s pockets while he was unconscious before fleeing the scene.”
The victim was hospitalized and received stitches to his chin.Â
