It looks like Dallas is shaping up to have quite a squad. Although I hate that they lost Tyson Chandler to the Knicks and may possibly lose JJ Barea to Minnesota, West, Carter and Odom aren’t too bad of a deal.
The Mavs announced yesterday that they signed free agent Vince Carter. They did not release the terms of the deal. Delonte West signed a 1 year deal with the Mavericks on the same day. The first Dallas game will be on Christmas, kicking off the new NBA season.
In related and unrelated news Dwight Howard is still looking for the team he’d like to call home. He’s compiled a small list of possibilities with Dallas and Los Angeles being at the top of that list. We’ll see where he ends up.
