NBA All Star Weekend Headed Back To Los Angeles

It’s official, Los Angeles will host the NBA All Star Weekend in 2018. The announcement is to be made Tuesday before the Lakers host the Grizzlies at the Staples Center. 

Sacramento hoped to host in 2018, but lost out to the Staples Center who previously hosted the NBA All Star game in 2011, 2004 and 1999. The Lakers and the Clippers will share hosting duties, much like they did in 2011 and much like the Knicks and Nets did in New York in 2015. Before the All Star game makes its way to LA, however, Charlotte will host the festivities in 2017.

Considering the extremely cold temperatures in New York and Toronto, a little warm weather will be fun. However, as someone who attended All Star Weekend in LA last time, the traffic and proximity will be nuts.
