Well according to Laura, this would be the case. I guess Gil got tired of the blind dates and decided that after 7 years of whateeeeever it was that he and Laura were doing together, they were going to stick it out and try and make it work. “We plan to get married soon. When and where, I don’t know yet. I feel like we’re already married though, ten years, four kids later,” Laura tells Essence Magazine. “People say he’s a mess, and I’m a mess. You know what, we’re each other’s messes.”
Speaking of Essence Magazine, Laura actually did a little interview with them that made her come off a lot more likable. By far better than the crazy interview we blogged about last month. When asked about some little known facts about her, she had some pretty cool things to say.
“One thing is that I’m a dedicated mom of four. I’ve played basketball all my life. I coached on a college level and I attempted to play overseas, but I was injured. It was time for basketball to end for me. I worked for the Golden State Warriors, which is where I met Gilbert [Arenas], my fiancé. Then I got my masters in Sports Psychology. I was in a masters PhD program but I started having children so I stopped.”
I think I may warm up to Miss Laura….maybe. Laura and Gloria also sat down with Angela Yee and The Breakfast Club to dish all of the goods on Basketball Wives LA. Check that video out below.
