As I watched the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop, I was exposed to a side of Jim Jones that I had never seen before. His mother had an artist prepare a song in dedication to Jim and during the song, Jim became emotional and began to cry. Sure, it was an emotional time, until Chrissy makes a comment that this isn’t the only time Jim has cried and that he is as bit of a “cry baby”.

Ladies have you ever been in a relationship with a guy who seemed to be abnormally sensitive? Allow me to tell you a story of one of my experiences with a guy who was a cryer. The first time we had been “intimate” he cried. I didn’t think too much of it at first because he had just moved into a new city, far from home and had said he was a bit home sick. Months and even years into our relationship I noticed that he would cry around me a lot. If we fought and I said I was leaving, he’d cry to try and make me stay. When he did wrong, he’d cry to get me to forgive him, when he was happy he’d cry, sad he would cry. He made it hard for me to tell if he was genuine or if he was a way to tug at my heart strings to possibly get me to do what ever he wanted.

Shortly after, I start to realize that he wasn’t just “sensitive”. All those sad emotions he had came with a bunch of other emotions too. He was angry a lot then happy, somewhat bipolar. But what about the guy who really is just a sensitive person. Do women really want a man who is in touch with his emotional side or do we want a man who is masculine all of the time? Do we look at emotional or sensitive men as soft? What are your thoughts?Â
