Just when no one in the entire world has asked Stacey Dash her opinion, the “Clueless” actress offers it up anyway.
While most of us were applauding Chicago’s efforts for standing up against bigotry and shutting Trumps campaign down Friday night, Stacey plays devil’s advocate, saying that Trump isn’t responsible for the repeated violence at his rallies.
“There’s a lot of talk about Donald Trump being violent, condoning it, or at least inciting it. But this is a total misread of our next President,” Stacey writes in a blog post. “ First of all, he’s not responsible for what every random guy does — out of thousands. Second of all, he’s not violent, he’s just “street.” He was born in Queens. Of course, that doesn’t mean he was hustling on the street, dodging bullets. I know he had a privileged upbringing that no doubt isolated him from much of the violence and strife that some people grew up with in the city.”
Dear Stacey, if you see a crime being committed and you have the ability to stop it, but you don’t, you are just as guilty. So, just because Trump isn’t the one physically assaulting black men at his rallies, he DOES egg his supporters on and he surely doesn’t make them stop. He is violent.
Stacey then goes on to talk about how growing up in New York gives you a certain level of “streetness,” despite the fact Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
