Ballerific Relationships - 3 People To Avoid When In A Relationship

The idiom “two is a couple, three is a crowd, four is too many, and five’s not allowed” is widely known.  However, successful relationships require good communication, trust, and effort between two people, not more.  Involving others in your relationship can cause problems.  Here are three people to avoid when seeking relationship advice.

  1. The Lonely Friend: A person who is alone by choice can provide good objective advice. In contrast, a lonely person hates being single and may be negative about relationships. They may give advice based on their personal views, rather than considering your situation. Seeking advice from someone logical and in a healthy relationship is a better option.
  2. The Yes Man: The “yes” man agrees with everything you say and may not call you out when you are wrong.  While they may boost your morale, they may not help you grow.  A parent can provide objective feedback, even if it’s not what you want to hear.
  3. The Social Network: Sharing your relationship issues on social media can lead to problems.  Your posts may be seen by friends, enemies, and people with different intentions.  Keeping your relationship problems private is best.  Only make important decisions after careful consideration.

In conclusion, involving others in your relationship can be detrimental.  Seek advice from trusted sources, keep your relationship private, and make decisions carefully.
