T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, has been charged with drug possession stemming from the couple’s arrest on the Sunset Strip last month.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney has charged Tiny with possessing ecstasy. If convicted, she could face up to a year behind bars.
The couple was arrested together in September after police stopped them on the Sunset Strip. T.I. was not charged in Los Angeles, which surprised a lot of people who assumed he had taken responsibility to keep his wife out of trouble.
T.I. is already dealing with the fallout of the arrest in Georgia, where it put his probation from his federal weapons case at risk.
Tiny has not commented on the charge.
