Mob Wives’ Big Ang Has 30% Chance Of Survival, Says She’s Fighting Cancer Alone

Mob Wives Big Ang has been battling stage 4 cancer, and she’s doing it without the support of her husband. During Tuesday’s appearance on Dr. Oz, the reality show star says despite their stint on VH1’s “Couples Therapy,” it’s too late to repair her relationship with her husband of 6 years, Neil Murphy. She says that Murphy has never really stepped up to the plate in their marriage and that she’d rather just be alone.

Big Ang tells Dr. Oz that she’s fighting depression. She was first diagnosed with throat cancer in March 2015 and later found out that the cancer had spread to her lungs and brain. In January, Ang says doctors have given her a 30% chance of survival.

Ang’s doctors have decided to switch her from chemotherapy to immunotherapy. Through it all, she attempts to remain positive. “I stay positive. I try to stay positive. I look at my kids and my grandchildren and I know how much they need me. My kids, my daughter lives with me with her kids and her husband so I’m very close to my grandchildren. My son’s kids always sleep over.”
