Despite rumors that Khloe Kardashian’s ‘Kocktails With Khloe’ talk show was getting canned, RadarOnline reports that the show has instead been picked up for another 27 episodes by FYI Network. There’s one major issue, though. With the show getting picked up for more episodes, Radar says Khloe is asking for more cash.
“Now that Khloe’s talk show got picked up for all these new episodes, she wants more stake in the company than ever before. She now knows how powerful her voice truly is,” an insider tells Radar Online. According to the insider, Khloe is asking for a $2 million signing bonus.
The insider also says that Khloe wants to separate the show from her family. “Khloe really does not want to have her family on every single week anymore because she wants to stand out from that, which is why she had Tori [Spelling] on this week.” According to Radar, however, “Kocktails” producers have other plans. “The producers at the network really believe that people are tuning in to the show to see the off-script Kardashian drama carry over into Kocktails,” said the source. “They are looking at this the same way that audiences respond to such shows as Watch What Happens Live. So right now, they are having a bit of discrepancy with Khloe as far as the future format of Kocktails goes.”
