On Thursday, many were privy to getting a sneak peek of Kanye West’s upcoming album, “The Life Of Pablo.” In one song in particular, Kanye proclaims that he can get sex from Taylor Swift, and that he made her famous. On Friday morning Kanye took to Twitter to explain that things are cool between him and Taylor, and that she’s already heard the track, giving Kanye her blessing to release it. Kanye says, in fact, that Taylor Swift agrees that he made her famous.
Reps for Taylor Swift, on the other hand, call BS. They say that West never called Taylor to get her approval on the song. Instead, he contacted Taylor to ask for her help in promoting the track on social media. “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account,” a rep for Taylor says. “She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.'”
Taylor has yet to tweet her support for Kanye’s track. I wonder if she will actually mention it at all.
