Police in Oklahoma City say a 20 year old man has been arrested after his grandparents were found dead inside their home, which also operated as a daycare.
According to CNN, officers went to the home around 2 pm to perform a welfare check. When they arrived, they saw the man, Quinton, standing outside and detained him. Inside, police found Sharon, 59, and James, 70, who were identified as his grandmother and her husband. Police said the couple had been shot and decapitated.
Officers also found three small children who were in the daycare’s care in an attached garage. Police said the children were not hurt and were returned safely to their families. It had not been determined whether the children saw what happened.
Quinton was being held on two counts of first degree murder at the time of this report. He is accused of the crime and has not been convicted. More details were expected from police.
