DMX Hospitalized After Collapsing in Parking Lot

Rapper DMX is currently in the hospital following a very scary episode he had last night in Yonkers, New York. He was in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn, where he was staying, when he started complaining about shortness of breath and chest pains. Just moments after, he fell unconscious, collapsed on the ground, and stopped breathing.

His friends called the cops and they arrived on the scene to find DMX without a pulse. They performed CPR on him and were luckily able to revive him, bringing him back to consciousness. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he remains now in stable condition.

DMX’s team first reported that he had suffered an asthma attack, a condition that the rapper has been dealing with for a while. However, TMZ is now reporting that his collapse might have been drug-related. According to them, a witness says DMX took some kind of powder substance right before he lost consciousness and that cops had to revive him using an antidote to narcotic overdoses.
