Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas have been at odds when it comes to the custody of their four children and most of the drama has played out over social media. There has been a slight break through in the case, but likely not one that either of them like.
An L.A. County Superior Court judge has ordered both Laura and Gilbert to attend co-parenting classes. In open court the judge criticized Arenas, saying, “Gilbert is behaving badly. He needs to change.”
Though the Judge is not fond of Gilbert’s behavior, it’s evident that both sides need help. The former couple have been ordered to 12 hours of co-parenting classes, which must be taken together, and if they don’t complete the classes the judge could alter the custody arrangement. So far the judge opted to not make any changes, but if a change is to be made it could affect everything from Gilbert’s financial obligation to visitation.
Gilbert and Laura are due back in court in July.
