Ava DuVernay Starts New Partnership To Promote Films By Women Of Color

Ava DuVernay’s independent film distribution collective, ARRAY, will be partnering with Indiegogo to help raise awareness and create support systems for films created by women and directors of color.

“Indiegogo has proven to be the perfect, like-minded partner in this experiential endeavor at Sundance to asset the importance and beauty of filmmakers of color and women filmmakers,” said DuVernay.

The official launch of the partnership will take place at the 5th Annual ARRAY Soiree at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where both parties serve as co-founders.
