It’s that time of year again! Now that the Golden Globes have wrapped up, we can start preparing for The Oscars. 2015 was the year that I spent nearly every weekend at the movie theater. Do you think the Academy felt the same?
‘Creed’  scored an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor (Sylvester Stallone) while  ‘Straight Outta Compton’ one of my faves this year, scored an Oscar nod for Best Original Screenplay. The Weeknd also receives his first Oscar nomination for his Best Original Song, “Earned It” off the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ soundtrack. Hopefully this year will be Leonardo DiCaprio’s year as ‘The Revenant’ leads with 12 nominations (though only one for Leo), followed by ‘Mad Max’ with 10 and ‘The Martian’ with 7.Â
