Soon You Can Fly From LAX To Europe For $200

I remember when the price of airfare skyrocketed momentarily.  The rise in fuel prices trickled down on to passengers, who ended up paying an arm and a leg in fees. Then came new airlines that promised economically friendly flying options, which many have began to take advantage of. 

Wow Air, a relatively new no-frills Icelandic airline, is offering the same for international travel. They have just announced that they will be offering flights from Iceland to LAX for just $99 each way. They will also offer $199 flights from LAX to London, Paris, Berlin and 18 other European destinations, with stopovers in Iceland.

Wow Air has already proposed similar pricing for San Francisco International Airport, scheduled to begin June 9. LAX will begin June 15.

Baggage pricing will be as follows:

–Free, small carry-on luggage up to 11 pounds
–$48 for a larger carry-on bag
–$67 for a first checked bag
–$10 to $12 for seat reservations
