Scottie Pippen and his wife Larsa are reportedly ending their marriage after nearly two decades together, according to reports from Page Six and The Daily Beast.
The NBA legend and Larsa married in 1997 and have four children. Reports in October 2016 said Scottie filed for divorce, and the couple had been seen together at New York Fashion Week just last month. Neither of them had publicly explained the reason for the split at the time.
Chatter online about what led to the breakup followed quickly. Friends of Larsa say there is no romance with a male friend of hers and describe it as just a friendship. Nothing about the speculation has been confirmed.
Sources close to Scottie told reporters he had been traveling often for business, mostly to Chicago, and that the two had drifted apart. As with any report built on unnamed sources, it remains unconfirmed until the couple says otherwise.
