Cosmetics Company Seeks Restraining Order Against Kardashian Sisters Over Makeup Line Dispute

A licensing fight over a makeup line has landed in court, according to The Jasmine Brand.

The Kardashian sisters are in the middle of a legal fight over a makeup line. The Jasmine Brand reports that Haven Beauty, a cosmetics company owned by Hillair Capital, filed court documents earlier this month seeking a restraining order against the sisters.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the filing alleges the sisters agreed to give Haven exclusive rights to their names and likeness for cosmetic products, but then promoted other makeup brands. The company also claims they did not promote the line on social media or make agreed appearances. The filing reportedly describes a Dubai event where Khloe was said to be unhappy with the setup and the company cancelled her scheduled appearance. These are claims made by Haven in court papers, and the sisters have not been reported to have confirmed them.

This follows an earlier suit. Hillair Capital invested $10 million in Kardashian Beauty, and the sisters were sued over not posting about it. Haven then began selling products without the sisters’ approval. A representative for the sisters reportedly responded that the Kardashians had nothing to do with the makeup line. Haven then filed a federal lawsuit asking for an injunction to stop the sisters from speaking negatively about the line in the media.

That injunction request was reportedly rejected. Haven filed more documents saying its business would suffer without help from the court. Both sides are expected to appear before a judge soon.

Baller Alert will keep you posted as the case moves forward.
