Omarosa Manigault says that after she joined forces with Donald Trump’s campaign, she has been shut out by her friends and family members.
In a recent interview with ABC 20/20, Omarosa says, “There are people who stopped talking to me. It has been a very long, lonely…One of my bridesmaids, a woman who was going to be in my wedding in the Spring.. I will never forget the people who turned their backs on me when all I was trying to do was help the black community.”
A tearful Omarosa continued, “It’s been so incredibly hard. I was called every single racial slur in the book that you could direct towards an African-American by African-Americans.”
Back in July, Donald Trump named Omarosa, former Apprentice star, as his Director of African-American outreach. Since then, Donald Trump has met with black leaders of black churches on at least two occasions. However, some of the questionable things Trump has said about the black community, or the way his supporters treat black people, have not sat well with most of the country.
What would truly be sad is if Donald Trump does not give Omarosa a job at the White House for all her troubles. And I mean, a real job, a decent job, not some title that was just made up specially for her.
