In March 2015, an Arizona judge sentenced Sharper to 9 years in prison. In August 2016, a judge in New Orleans handed down an 18 year sentence, after rejecting his 9-year plea deal. Now, on Tuesday, a Los Angeles sentenced the former NFL safety to 20 years behind bars. Whether he’s serving these sentences simultaneously or concurrently, he’ll be in jail for a very very long time.
Sharper has been found guilty of accused of drugging and raping as many as 16 women across New Orleans, California, Nevada and Arizona. Darren Sharper and his accomplices allegedly gave the women spiked drinks that they referred to as “horny juice,” and when the women were out cold, Sharper had sex with them.
Sharper has already entered his guilty plea in Nevada, so it’ll be interesting to see how the judge rules there.
