Ray J was set to be paid $1 million to appear on Celebrity Big Brother UK, but three days ago he began complaining of “extreme tooth pain” to cast members and producers. However, producers didn’t believe him so they ignored his complaints.
Ray J, who was up for eviction this week, was forced to continue shooting the show until the pain became unbearable. It was so bad that in an effort to rally by their fellow housemate, the rest of the cast refused to continue shooting until Ray got medical help.
The following day, a dentist came on set to deliver Ray 8 painkillers, 4 of which he was to take immediately and the remaining 4 the next morning. Ray took the first four pills but still woke up in unbearable pain. He took the remaining four pills and didn’t feel much better. Producers finally agreed to take Ray J to the hospital, but on the way out of the house the singer blacked out.
It turns out Ray had an abscessed tooth amongst other dental issues. “I’ve got a cracked tooth where I need a filling fixed,” said Ray J. “I got a gum coming over my over tooth and I’m in a lot of pain – so three and a half days in the house with all of this pain, they decided to take me out.”
Ray J’s record breaking paycheck from CBBUK is now in jeopardy because the singer says he’s not being allowed back in the house.
“They won’t let me back in and I’m really hurt by it because I felt like I was doing well,” said Ray. ” I felt like I was connecting with the British fanbase, and it just sucks because I was having such a good time.”
When asked by TMZ if he would sue if he was kicked out of the house and not given his $1 million, Ray J says, “I’d never like to do that because I’m a producer as well and I like to be on the same page with everybody but this is just not fair and if I have to take those precautions, I will.”
He continued, “I don’t even care about my tooth – put me back in the house and let me work, this isn’t right.”
