Vince Young isn’t ready to hang up his cleats just yet, so he’s set his mind on making a comeback.

The former NFL quarterback, who hasn’t played in a regular-season game in nearly five years, has hired an agent in an effort to jumpstart his return to the field. On Wednesday, Leigh Steinberg spoke of Young on Twitter, welcoming the former baller, saying he “has a dream of playing more football, being role model.” The next day, Steinberg tweeted that the two have been in talks with Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.

In 2006, Young was drafted as the third overall pick to the Tennessee Titans. There, he threw 42 touchdowns and 42 picks, with a 30-17 record, NFL.com reports. As a rookie, he was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, in addition to landing an AFC Pro Bowl selection as a reserve. In 2009, he was named Sporting News NFL Comeback Player of the Year. After his time in Tennessee, he started three games in Philadelphia for the Eagles with the “Dream Team.”

Three years later, Young signed one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns, but was released after just two weeks. This eventually lead to his retirement.

That wasn’t the last time Young made headlines, however. Just last month, the 33-year-old pleaded no contest in connection to a 2016 DUI arrest in Austin, Texas. The case resulted in 18 months of probation. Young is now ready to put all of that behind him, and play professionally again.

Upon hearing the news of the a potential comeback, Vince Young fans took to twitter to express their excitement. Check out some tweets below:
